At Sniper Tactical Gear, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returning products and receiving refunds. We comply with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and all applicable South African consumer protection laws.
2. Return Eligibility
You may return a product within 30 days of delivery, provided that the following conditions are met:
- The product is unused, undamaged, and in its original condition
- The product is in its original packaging with all tags, labels, and accessories intact
- You have proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt)
- The product is in a resalable condition
The following items cannot be returned unless they are defective:
- Products that have been used, worn, or altered
- Products without original packaging
- Products marked as “final sale” or “non-returnable” at the time of purchase
3. How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact us at info@snipertacticalgear.co.za within 30 days of receiving your order
- Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return
- Our team will review your request and provide you with a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) and return instructions
- Package the item(s) securely in their original packaging
- Ship the item(s) back to us using a trackable shipping method
Please do not return items without first obtaining a Return Authorisation Number. Returns without authorisation may not be processed.
4. Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to one of the following reasons:
- The product is defective or damaged upon arrival
- The wrong product was delivered
- The product does not match the description on our website
In these cases, we will cover the return shipping costs or arrange for a collection at no charge to you.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service for all returns. We are not responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit.
5. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. The inspection process typically takes 2-3 business days.
If your refund is approved:
- The refund will be processed within 14 business days of approval
- The refund will be credited to your original payment method (credit card, debit card, or other method used for the purchase)
- Please allow 5-10 additional business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution
- The original shipping cost of R 99.00 is non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error
If your refund is rejected, we will notify you of the reason and return the item(s) to you at your expense.
6. Defective Products
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, if you receive a defective product, you are entitled to one of the following remedies within 6 months of purchase:
- Repair: We will have the defective product repaired at no cost to you
- Replacement: We will replace the defective product with an identical or similar product
- Refund: We will provide a full refund of the purchase price, including the original shipping cost
To report a defective product, please contact us at info@snipertacticalgear.co.za with your order number, a description of the defect, and photographs if possible. We will arrange for the collection of the defective item at no cost to you.
